The short version: Compound has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and your plans stay on your device.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter in Compound (people, accounts, contributions, fees and tax rates) is stored on your device. Jaceal LLC has no server that receives it, and we cannot see it.
What Compound does not do
- No account or sign-up.
- No bank linking.
- No analytics and no tracking.
- No ads.
- No selling or sharing of data, because we don’t have any.
Backups and shared plans
Backup & restore in Settings writes your plans to a file, and you can also share a person’s whole plan as a file. In both cases you choose where the file goes. Nothing is uploaded by Compound.
Purchases
Compound Pro is a one-time in-app purchase made through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app on your device whether Pro is unlocked. Jaceal LLC does not receive your payment details. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
This website
This site has no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and protect the site.
Contacting us
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply. See Support.
Estimates, not advice
Compound gives estimates from the numbers you enter. It is not financial, tax or investment advice and does not promise any return.
Children
Compound is a planning tool for adults and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
